The United States’ Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) has recognized EMS Seven Seas as one of its top performing supply contractors for 2013 and 2014. The appreciation was made as part of the U.S. Department of Defense's 'Superior Supplier Incentive Program' (SSIP).
The SSIP is designed to identify suppliers with the highest rankings in areas such as cost, schedule, performance, quality, and business relations. In determining the award, DLA considered 153 of its parts and commodity suppliers with the largest contracts who have worked with the Agency over the past two years.
EMS Seven Seas was recognized in the bronze category, in acknowledgement of our Subsistence Prime Vendor (SPV) Southwest Asia contract, which covers the United Arab Emirates, Oman, Djibouti and Kenya.
