The positive development has continued in the first half of 2023, and 2023 is likely going to be even better than 2022. Seven Seas is in a stronger position than ever before due to the hard work and dedi-cation of all team members across the world – and Seven Seas positions is becoming stronger and stronger every day! Over the years Seven Seas have placed a lot of focus on developing internal candidates ensuring that all employees have the right mindset and understanding of Seven Seas culture and values.
It is therefore with great pleasure that we can announce the following internal promotions effective as of 1 July 2023.
Seven Seas CFO Patrick Juhl will take over as CEO. Current CEO and Chairman Soren Norgaard will remain as Chairman for the company and will continue to be involved in the day-to-day operations ensuring continuity across all levels.
Soren states: “Patrick has worked with us since 2016 latest as CFO since 2021. When I took over as CEO about 18 months ago we changed some of the responsibilities split between the CEO and CFO role and Patrick handled many of the typical CEO tasks during this period. Patrick has played a key role in developing and executing the group’s strategy and development and has deep insight into everything that has happened in the group over the past years. I am very comfortable handing over the CEO baton to Patrick.”
In addition to the promotion of Patrick, Seven Seas is also promoting Anu Rajmohan to CFO. Anu comes with a strong financial and tax background and has been with Seven Seas since 2021.
Patrick states: “We have been on a fantastic journey over the past years. There has been challenging periods and we have recently been navigating through Covid and high inflation, but the company is in a stronger position than ever before. We are standing on two stable pillars, namely, our global ship supply business as well as our 3PL business. Last year we increased our topline by close to 50% and we welcomed more than 100 new colleagues to the company. I am happy to say that we have continued to execute on our strategy and we are seeing a strong development in the first half of 2023 as well. I look very much forward to continuing the journey with Soren, Anu and the rest of our great team.”
The Seven Seas Executive Management team will as of 1 of July hence consist of Patrick Juhl and Anu Rajmohan.
Soren continues: “Continuity and internal promotions have been an integral part of the success we have achieved over the past years in Seven Seas. I am therefore very pleased to fill these positions with colleagues who have been a vital part of ensuring we are where we are today.”
Patrick continues: “Our core focus and strategy remains unchanged: Ship Supply business in Middle East, Singapore, Portugal and through our global partner network as well as 3PL business in the Middle East. Our superior service level, combined with our global footprint and extensive measures taken on sustainability initiatives will remain of utmost importance to us.”
